Etienne loves to gather people together around a table – whether to roleplay with friends, share a meal with family, or discuss forest management issues. He is a forester who believes that forestry isn’t just about trees, but about people, and he thrives in dynamic situations where he can help find common language and shared interests.
Etienne Bélanger joined the Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) in 2008. As Vice President of Indigenous Relations and Forestry, he offers FPAC members dedicated leadership and innovative advocacy in sustainable forest management, with a particular emphasis on fostering strong Indigenous partnerships.
Etienne holds a master’s degree in Forest Science from Université Laval and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec. He is a sword fighting adept and eager hunter living in Aylmer, Québec.
