Jenna Phillips (she/her) joined FPAC as a Policy Analyst in August 2023, with the mission to support a just transition within the Canadian forest sector. Jenna hopes to bring a holistic and critical lens to forest governance processes, especially when it comes to fostering gender equity, Indigenous reconciliation, and climate resilience through forest policy outcomes. Prior to joining FPAC, Jenna worked on sustainability education and policy communications with the United Nations, academic institutions, non-profits, municipal government, among others. Jenna runs her own sustainability education platform called Clear the Air, where she breaks down complex issues and mobilizes thousands of youth to take climate action. Jenna earned a Bachelor’s of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and just completed a Master’s of Global Governance at the Balsillie School of International Affairs.
