As a member of FPAC’s climate and environment team, Kathryn works with members and value chain partners on a host of mill-related legislative and regulatory files and supports the development of national policy positions.
In her work, she seeks ways to enable innovation and secure strong environmental performance across the sector.
Kathryn is a results-focused engineer with a penchant for analytical thinking, stewardship for environment and integrative sustainability, and takes pride in taking initiative. She comes to this work through her diverse background, including experience with the provincial government and various departments within manufacturing (Environmental Management, Process Safety, OH&S).
Kathryn has completed an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.).
Kathryn is an energetic spirit who loves adventure and exploring new ideas. She has a way of asking questions that make people think differently so one can achieve optimal performance in all facets. On weekends you will find Kathryn being active outdoors, planning her next adventure, and experimenting in the kitchen, cooking from the heart.
